107.3FM is a Christian Community Radio Station on the Gold Coast catering to an audience 35-49 years young. Our music is contempory and we play 40% mainstream and 60% Christian music. We are not in your face about our beliefs but we consider Christian based wholesome family values to be a very important part of our charter and need our on air staff, to have a friendly outgoing (without the ego) style that can relate to our audience. 
 
Just some of the skills that you will learn if you do not have the experience already.
Present a solo music shift
Present a show in a co-host role
Panel a program
Basic computer maintainance
Understand and use our automation system Simian
Understand script writing and format.
Basics in Cool Edit, Protools, Stinger, Powergold, Bluegum, Microsoft Office.
 
Applicants should have a heart for Christian Radio and values.
 
Demonstrate sound computer and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and have a vivid imagination.
 
Attitude will be considered above existing skills, as training is provided.
 
Commitment of time will depend on your availabilty but will be a minimum of 12 months including a 3 month trial period.
 
This role is a voluntary position but will result in valuable radio experience.

THE SHED PRODUCERS
Position Available Voluntary –unpaid
 
107.3 is growing at a rapid rate. We are looking for some eager volunteers to assist behind the scenes in our night show THE SHED. The Shed’s core target audience is 13-25 with strong values and provides a positive alternative to other media streams. As a producer you will be:
 
managing the request line,
assisting with research and prep,
organizing promotions and prizes
basic audio production
updating website
potential on air work
 
Applicants should have a heart for Christian Radio and values.
Demonstrate sound computer and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and have a vivid imagination. Attitude will be considered above existing skills, as training is provided.
Commitment of 1 or 2 nights per week (6-10pm) for a minimum of 12 months including a 3 month trial period. This role is a voluntary position but will result in valuable radio experience.
