Why do you work at 107.3?
Mostly out of obedience. I kinda fell into it cos it needed doing and I was available. (remember it's not ability that God wants, it's availability). Luckily I enjoy it most of the time and when I'm not I'm good at pretending I am. I also believe in the work the station is doing of course - I get to see some of the results; it constantly amazes me how God can use a radio station to impact people!

What do you do to unwind?

Bleah... sit down mostly, go to the beach, ride the Harley, read, watch what ever old school TV seris DVD box set I've most recently got my hands on. I would say spending time with friends, but when I get to do that I usually end up running round like an excited puppy dog so it hardly counts as unwinding...

Who do you look up too?

Well Jesus of course ultimately. But also John Smith: Founder of the God Squad, author, preacher & generally the most Jesus-focussed, think-for-yourself, tell-it-like-it-is bloke I've ever met. Also Keith Green sounds like he was a pretty tops bloke.

Most Embarrassing Moment On Air.

When I pre-recorded one night cos I had to go to my real job & I was listening in the car & a break went to air where I had stuffed up and started again and forgot to edit it out. Actually it was more funny than embarrasing.

What is one of your idiosyncrasies?

What's an idiosyncrasy?

What’s Your Pet Peeve?

Four wheel drives. People not using roundabouts correctly. The use of Christian terminology, lingo, and catch phrases around people (yes, even Christians), who aren't necessarily gonna understand it.

What did you do before you got into radio?

Same thing I do now; Disability Support. I just had a lot more spare time back then, which I mostly wasted.
